Increase Your Gratitude. Increase Your Happiness.

Are you unhappy? Are you generally unhappy or are you unhappy about a specific thing in your life? Do you want to know how to change this? Increase your gratitude. Gratitude is being aware of and thankful for the good things that happen and taking the time to express them. Gratitude infuses your life with new and positive energy. You will experience more joy, peace, excitement, and enthusiasm. Try practicing conscious gratitude for 14 days in a row and see for yourself what positive changes gratitude will bring to your life.

 

How can you cultivate an Attitude of Gratitude?

Begin your Day with Gratitude

I suggest starting out your day by stating 3 things for which you are grateful. How about these 3? I am so grateful I woke up! I am grateful for having a cozy warm bed to sleep in. I am grateful for my friends, my family, and my co-workers.

Practice Gratitude with a Gratitude Journal

Keep a journal with you and throughout the day write 5 things for which you are grateful. 

Keep a Gratitude Rock in your pocket

When you are trying to incorporate a new habit into your life, it requires you to be conscious about it. A small smooth rock placed in your pocket can do this. Throughout the day when you touch the rock, let it be a reminder to be grateful about something. Each and every time, say out loud or to yourself, “I am grateful for ____________.”

This app is included because of the option to create personalized journal prompts, a feature missing from the other apps so far. Grateful is streamlined and straightforward to use, and your journal entries are private and saved in case you want to read them again.
